From family-owned vineyard located outside
of the tiny, medieval Tuscan town of Monterigioni
this 100% Sangiovese is far more serious
and complex than the modest price would
suggest. It is light- to medium-bodied,
with a nose redolent of berry fruit, spice,
and cherries. It's smooth, easy to drink
with fine tannins and a long, berry-tinged
finish.
